Emma is an inspiring and exciting teacher. She works with a range of ages and expertise and is always inclusive. Her students love her classes. I would recommend her to everyone.

Sarah (child aged 8)

Emma loves music and as a teacher her primary desire is to pass her passion, technical skill , musicality and knowledge onto her students.

She does this patiently, thoughtfully and intelligently, and her classes are fun. Yet, at the same time She expects a commitment to learning and achieving the very best.

In the time our daughter has had lessons with Emma, she has made amazing jumps not only in her musical development and ability to listen and concentrate but also in her confidence as a young person. This is thanks to Emma’s exceptional talent as a musician and teacher.

Martin & Urmilla (daughter aged 7)

Emma is an amazing teacher with great skills and patience. She keeps the lessons playful and exciting. Our children have been making incredible progress since they started playing.

Chloe & Ben (2 children aged 4 and 7)

Emma began teaching my daughter when she was 3 ½ years old (a challenge!). Her ability to engage with my daughter is fantastic. She is patient, encouraging and playful all at the same time. I was (and still am) constantly amazed at how much my daughter digests from her cello individual/group lessons with Emma which has already transferred to other areas such as confidence in public performing and ability to concentrate and focus. My daughter loves music and many thanks to Emma for providing such a nurturing framework for this love to thrive and grow.

Pamela (daughter now aged 5)
